Background
Coast scored a double for the Rugby World Cup in 2003: we won the IRB (International Rugby Board) contract to design all the official graphics for the tournament and we were also appointed by the ARU (Australian Rugby Union) to co-ordinate and manage their diverse design needs as the Host Union. A palette of warm reds and gold created a more Australian feel while silhouettes of rugby players added dynamism to the ‘kit of parts’.
