Coast were engaged by Drillsearch Energy to play a leading role in communicating the strategic intent of its merger with Great Artesian Oil and Gas. Within a limited timeframe Coast conducted qualitative research and distilled the findings into a compelling strategic vision and brand identity. The new wordmark exemplifies the amalgamation of the two organisations and their shared promise of ‘unearthing prosperity’. Not only did the successful merger create a new company with a market capitalisation of approximately $75 million, it also ensured that a productive relationship was maintained and enhanced with its three key constituencies: employees, customers and the investment community.
The first annual report following the merger and rebrand was an opportunity to communicate the organisation’s vision, values and expand on the visual language of the brand identity.
